Early this morning Square Enix announced Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age for Playstation 4.

The title, is a remastered version of the PS2 classic, and Square Enix announced a tentative release date for 2017 for the PS4.

Players will get another chance to explore the world of Ivalice, in a full HD remaster, which also gives western audiences a chance to use the Zodiac Job System, which is a 12-job character progression system.

Additional enhancements for the remaster include:

7.1 Surround sound, with newly recorded background music and high-definition voices.
In game graphics and cut-scenesmastered in high-definition
Playstation 4 trophy support is also being included in the game.

The press release also mentioned that there will be hands-on version playable at E3 2016 next week.
